Lesson terms

1.1. If you don't know your level, you take the level test before lessons start, and at the end of it you can book a free 20-minute intro call.

1.2. You choose an option (a single lesson, or a bundle of 5 or 10) and your time in the Cal.com calendar.

1.3. A lesson is booked once it's paid for. Your confirmation and Google Meet link are sent to your email.

1.4. A bundle is paid once, when you book its first lesson. We agree the times of the remaining lessons together, and I send you their links myself.

2.1. Prices are listed on the Lessons & prices page, in euros per 60-minute lesson. The listed price is final and includes Finnish VAT at 25.5%.

2.2. Payment is in advance, by card online through Cal.com (processed by Stripe): a single lesson when you book it, a bundle in full when you book its first lesson.

2.3. A 5-lesson bundle is valid for 2 months and a 10-lesson bundle for 3 months from the first lesson. If you fall ill or something unexpected happens, let me know and we'll extend it.

3.1. You can cancel or move a lesson free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts, using the link in your confirmation email or by messaging me.

3.2. If you cancel less than 24 hours before, or don't show up, the lesson counts as taken: a single lesson isn't refunded, and a bundle lesson is used up.

3.3. If I cancel a lesson, we move it to a time that suits you, or I refund that lesson in full. Your choice.

4.1. Lessons end on time, even if they start late on your side.

4.2. If you haven't joined within 15 minutes and haven't let me know, the lesson counts as missed.

4.3. If a lesson is cut short because of a connection problem on my side, I'll add the time to your next lesson or we'll redo it.

5.1. If you decide to stop, I'll refund the lessons in your bundle that haven't taken place. The lessons already held are then charged at the single-lesson price (€20).

5.2. Your right of withdrawal: when you buy online, you have 14 days to withdraw from the agreement. If you book a lesson within those 14 days, you're asking for the service to start early. If you then withdraw, you pay only for the lessons that have already taken place.

5.3. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days.

6.1. Your lesson notebook and personal flashcards stay with you after lessons end.

6.2. Lesson materials are for your personal learning only. Please don't publish or resell them.

Lessons are not recorded. A lesson can only be recorded if both of us agree.

For a student under 18, a parent or guardian books, pays and gives consent for the student's data to be processed.

If something goes wrong, write to me and we'll sort it out. If we can't agree, consumers in Finland can turn to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi). Consumers elsewhere in the EU can use the European Consumer Centre in their own country.
